When fear of Corona virus abounds...the usual sickness becomes terrifying....haunting..
On Feb 10,2020
the first day, starting at about 11am feeling unwell, lying down and body temperature going up to 38
9.00pm body temperature reached 39.5. We took him to SisMed with BPJS, registrate with fotocopy of BPJS card and father's ID.
10.00 doctor said he got radang tenggorokan/ sore throat. She said if in 3 days the medicine did not take effect, then he had to be re-examined.
medicine (for 70kgs body weigh)
1. paracetamol acetaminofen 500mg 3 times a day (3x1) or can be up to 4 times
2. methylprenisolon (3x1) prescribed only seven tablets
3. Ciproloxacin hcl 500mg. This is antibiotics. Prescribed 2x1 for 5 days (10 tablets). Note that this antibiotics is strong and causing tummy discomfort. It is better to take polysilane 30 mins, then in the middle of eating, take the antibiotics. Thus will help to avoid tummy pain.
Other than medicine, the patient must drink a lot of water, juice, or Lou han hao, fruit and must be compressed with water.
Due to high fever, 2 times the patient was sprayed with alcohol.
Day 2, Tuesday Feb 11,2020
The medicine did not seem work because the temperature still in the range of 38.9 to 39.9
(2 days lying in bed totally,getting up for bathroom moments)
Day 3, Wed Feb 12, 2020
Frustrated bcs the body temperature reached 40 something...
Early morning 5.30 started with polysilane, eat and medicine.
At 9.00 still have fever.
At 10.00 getting better.
At 10.30 still warm but better.
At 14.00 temperature still warm.
Other treatment:
Take watermelon frost tablets.
Fruit taken:
papaya
dragon fruit
day 3: watermelon
liquid taken:
water
Lo Han Kuo
Green bean
mixed of kunyit and temulawak juice tht is boiled in 20mins.
At 16.00 temperature rises again up to 38.6
Day 4,
Thursday 13 Feb 2020
The temperature was still about 38.6.
7.30 went to another doctor, ie. Dr. Susy.
She told us not to worry. She was sure it was sore throat bcs the back part of the mouth is red.
She changed the medication bcs the previous was too strong, causing nausea and more suitable for tummy rather that throat.
New medication
1.Cefixime Thrihydrate 200mg , 2 times a day (2x1) 10 pieces
2.Tuzalos (3x1) 10 tablets
3.Nutriflam (3x1) 10 tablets

Day 5, Friday
still the same
Mr. K threw up...the tension escalated.
Afraid that it might be Corona, bcs the symptons were similar...
Day 6, Saturday, 15 Feb 2020 ( first day oh hospital treatment)
7.30 blood test
10.00 Result: maybe Dengue Fever
Recheck by dr. Surahman
1pm blood was taken again to check rhe SGPT/SGOT etc.
1.30 taken to 214 room
treatment: infused, take heparmax 2x1
theragran multivitamin 1x 1 (10pieces)
imboost force 2x1
not allowed to get down from the bed.
Papa decided to stay at the hospital, to accompany him
Friends came and visited him
Juice and liquid taken:
guava juice
beet juice
red yeast rice boiled in hot water.

Day 7 (Sunday) (dy 2 of hospital's treatment)
Temperature was normal.
Trombosit 77.000 but doctor was sure that it was Dengue, not Coronavirus.
My daughter and I came to the hospital at 7.30 by gocar.
We left K in the hospital for meeting.
Came back from meeting and stayed 'til night.
My mum and a young friend visited K.
9.30 pm. My younger sister and her husband came and took my daughter and me home.
Starting to take TF every 3 hours, 3 capsules.
10 pm pm rubbed his nose, and blood cme out from his nose.
Papa stayed again.
Day 8 (Monday) (day 3 of hospital treatment)
Waiting for the trombosit to rise
Blood test result 88.000.
A lot of red tiny spots on his feet but doctor said not to worry (normal signs of dengue)
Around 5 pm a newfriend came by herself to visit Mr.K
That night we decided to have rest at home.
Day 9 ( Tuesday) (day 4 of hospital's treatment)
5 am blood taken for the test
Blood test result came out and trombosit 100.000plus.
11pm doctor said he could go home.
15.00 We came home and pick up daughter from kumon.
Total stay in the hospital from 15 to 18 Feb 2020
Friday morning, Feb 21,2020, after 7 days of hospital Treatment (first day fever was detected on 10 Feb, admitted to the hospital on 15 Feb 2020)
Hepa function is still high!
The others are normal.
