Survival Family
In many ways we are so accustomed with the easiness of having electriciy in our lives...just switch on TV and you will be entertained by a lot of movies and be informed about last updated news.
Just plug the cable and the washing machines will do the laundry for you..just press the button and the elevator will take you to the level of the building you want.
And so on and so forth...
The following movie will tell us the frustration of having no electricity...but the beauty as well of being united as a family as frustration changes to care, love, and attention.... Notice too when money can not buy what we need in this kind of circumstance.

The story is based in Tokyo, Japan, where a family lives their usual lives until one day, a blackout happens globally. All electronics and battery powered things stops working. The only type of transport they can use are bicycles.
After one week of living in Tokyo with no electricity, they search for electricity in Osaka, about 397 km from Tokyo. On the way out of Tokyo, the people there sells water for 25$ US per bottle. After they have bought some water, they try to go to Haneda airport, hoping to find flights to their hometown, but the planes don't work, so they have to go by bike and decide to go to Osaka first. After reaching Osaka, they are dissapointed because Osaka's electricity dies too. So they go on to Kagoshima, the mother's hometown.
On their way, they pass through a farm and see a pig, so they kill it. The problem is they didn't know how to cut up the pig.
Suddenly, an old man appears and help them cut up the pig. The man offers them to stay at his house for a week, saying that they should help him catch other pigs in the area.
After one week, they go on their way to Kagoshima, only to find a big river in their way. While crossing it, the bikes, and their father is swept away by the current. So the mother, brother and sister go on their way, leaving their father, not knowing what has happened to him.
On the way, they follow a railroad track. Because they bring meat, they are chased by wild dogs, and while in the run, the mother breaks her leg. The dogs are ready to attack them when suddenly a train, fueled by coal approached and help them and take care of their mother.
Meanwhile his father makes his way back
to the farm, and sits down near a tractor. When he sees a train, he lits a flare and is brought to the train.
The family finally reunites. They go on their way to Kagoshima where they live there until the electricity returns, almost 3 years later. After 3 years, they finally return to Tokyo.
