Carbon Bomb of Swing Top Bottle
Coming home, we were surprised to see broken glass all over the floor. NOT knowing where they came from or who had broken our glass. As the dog was outside the house and nobody at home...who did this???That was our BIG QUESTION... or maybe someone had broken into our house...!!!!
My husband directly shouted to warn us to wear sandals or shoes.
My daughter came to the kitchen and shouted "it's the fermentation bottle that has broken." My husband directly uttered his disappointement. "It was his grape with black glutonous rice fermentation bottle and he had treasured it very much. Every morning he came to shake and release the carbon gas from the bottle. He had been taken care of it as if it were his baby.
And that night we came home from the gathering, we found it broken into pieces, how disappointing!!! The wine was all over the place and the grapes scattered all over the platter.
Luckily when the bottle broke and shot its pieces nobody was at home, or the person would have been killed or wounded by the shooting of the carbon bomb. (Dreadful to image the broken glass shot any body's neck or chest if the person had been home).
It took 2 hours to clean up and make sure the pieces on the floor had been cleaned properly.
The farthest shoot was 6 meter long, near the front door.
Tonight we learn something important that the carbon pressure can be very high that it can pressure the bottle from within and create a big pressure that can break the glass.
So releasing the carbon in fermentation is very important process. If we fail to do that can endanger our safety.
This is the look of our broken bottle jar.
Well...my daughter concluded "Mama, Papa, we were saved from the carbon bomb by our brother association." Yes, we had spent 4 hours eating dinner and singing Kingdom Songs of Jehovah with our foreign brothers. And we are grateful for the protection of our loving father Jehovah.
